Doesn’t look like that much does it?  Trust me,  it was!

The yard is looking so pretty. I love it.    I can’t wait till my little flowers there get big.  I had that little red bathtub for years.  I’m not sure what I was saving it for so I decided to put it in the yard with flowers.  When they get bigger it will look good.  Theold gate hunka got me for Valentine’s Day. We saw it at an antique shop and he went back and got it to surprise me.   I’ll have lots more photos on my Red Geranium Cottage blog if you wanna pop over there too.  I’ll be doing that blog later tonight.

Some new things came in and some have been restocked.  I got an order from Australia.  Love getting those packages.

Isn’t she cute?  I’d love to have one of her made up. She’s called Little Red. Her pattern is on the website.  Under Australian patterns.  As are most of these patterns.

Working on a couple of my BOM’s.  The first one is the button one.  Still not finished but I’m getting there. I want to start #2.

This is the Little House BOM.  I didn’t like the block on the top part so I changed it from the pattern. If your doing it you can look here and see what I did instead.

Hunka made more wood caddy’s in a bright yellow and bright red.   They are all under Wood Goods on the website.  The larger one I use to hold my mini quilts.  The smaller one is for my sewing stuff I use for stitchery.  Or doing bindings.

Fernhill button #2 has arrived and will be going out this week.  It’s a cute little squirrel.  I’m almost done stitching block #1.

Hunka and I are going to be doing quite a bit of traveling this year.  So we’ll be gone from time to time. I’ll let you know when we’re gone so you can place orders and know that we are away and orders won’t be filled.  He’s retired and has worked all these years.  I can’t blame him for wanting to get out and travel. We have a cruise coming up in May so I”ll be shipping orders until April 29th and then I’ll resume shipping May 19th.  After our cruise we’ll be spending a few days in New York. I’m so excited. Never been to NYC before.  We’re staying right in the middle of Times Square so it should be fun. Can you guess who I want to see? I bet you’ll never guess.

Now for what I’ve been working on…………….

This is an Australian pattern and it is for a wallhanging but I made it into a pillow for my friend Debbie’s baby room. She has grandkids coming out the …………well you know.  lolol  I love doing stitchery as I’ve told you but once I do it, I hang it on a hanger and don’t finish it. Well this one I did.And it’s a kit on the website called…………You are always in my heart.

My First Sewing Book is back too. It’s a great book.

I still have three spots left for this BOM. I traced mine today and am going to start stitching!! If you want to do it like mine let me know. I’ll fix you up with kits each month.  Remember, I don’t know what the finished quilt looks like either.

This is block #1.  I’ve just started stitching mine. I’m using an off white with beige dots for my background fabric. In case you haven’t decided what you’ll be using.  I have the fabric on the website.  This is Lynnette’s block, not mine.

These bundles from Primitive Gatherings are on the website as are charm squares.  I love this fabric line. I’ve ordered some of the bolts and should have them soon.  Season Little Gattherings.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. So many great stitchery projects inside.  Trust me on this one.

Collections Friendship fabric is one of my favorites. I love the colors. I showed you two of the other prints in my last newsletter.  Now I have to think of a quilt to make using all four fabrics.

Thank you for all of your patience while I was away.  I had a couple not to understanding people but other than that, it’s all good.  I know I let everyone know ahead of time I was away but there are always some that don’t get it.  What can ya do???   I try.

Hunka was nice enough to send out most of the new Fernill Button BOM’s for me.  I sent the remaining ones out today so everyone should have it by now.  I’ll be invoicing for the second one at the end of this week.

Vignette 6 has gone out too.  I forgot poor Rebecca but yours is on the way too.  Thank you for understanding Rebecca.

While I was away a few new things came in.  Some new books…….

Two booklets with more stitchery designs.  I love everything that Barbie Jo does.  I’ve started stitching on things from both books. Ill show it soon.

Loved these two bolts of fabric from Moda.  I see a mini coming soon using them.  They are under MODA on the website.  Also just under FABRIC.  LOVE THEM!!

Thank you for the nice emails, cards, etc regarding my doggy Madeline. We miss her so much and always will.  She was a great dog and we were lucky to have found her that day we went to the pound in LA looking for a new pet.

Before I show some new things to the website I want to let you know that all orders that are placed next week will go out by Friday. I won’t be shipping for two weeks.  I’ll be out of town.  Yes, I’m going on a little trip.  I’m so excited I can’t wait.  Going to New Hampshire and I’ve never ever been there.  Sooooo between March 19th thru March 30th no orders will ship.  I guess you could say I’m going on Spring break.  Never really did a Spring break before. This could become a habit.

Ok, my huge and I do mean huge box from Australia arrived today.  Vignette 6 is in the house.  But not for long. They are all going right back out and to your house.  Thanks for being so patient.  When it’s a big box like this it takes about a week longer than normal to arrive.  But the wait is well worth it. This issue is awesome.  If you didn’t get yours, you can still order and when my next order arrives you’ll be first on that shipment.  If I have extras after I finish sending out the current orders, you will get yours now.  If not, I’ll send you an email letting you know your on the next list.  The Vingette thread kit is still available too so if your making the quilt in the 8 issues I still have thread kits for it on the website.

Lynette Anderson has mailed out our first Button BOM.  Can’t wait to see that too.  I’m hoping they arrive next week so I can get them out to you guys before I leave.  Fingers crossed. If not, maybe I’ll have Hunka do that for us.  I don’t want to keep you guys waiting.  I still have four spots left in the BOM if you were thinking you might want to do it. After that there is no more.  It’s sold out almost everywhere.

These are back in stock.  I need to work on mine.  This is such a cute little quilt.  It comes preprinted so all you have to do it stitch it.
