Daisy Heat Wave

We are having one HEAT wave over here people!!  Today when I got in my car it said 109!!!! Seriously???  I want and need some SNOW!  I do not like the heat. I gotta say though it’s not been real humid which is great.  Just hot as ……….well you know.

Sorry I’ve been absent for so long. I’ve been sewing or something. I’m not really sure what I’ve been doing. Maybe it’s the heat. It’s getting to me.  I am working on new projects though,  I really am. I’m working on the Sew Spooky Halloween BOM too.  I’m hoping to get month 1 ready and sent out in a week.  That’s the plan so far!  I added a few spots if you wanted in but it was full.  Once I send out the first month though, it will be closed.  I can sell you the pattern then but no kit.

Speaking of Halloween,  I’ve gotten in quite a few bolts of Halloween fabs.  From Andover too.  Renee Nanneman (I hope I spelled that right) .  She is the nicest gal. I met her at market and we talked forever. She lives here in Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks.  I’d love to be invited to her digs. Just sayin!!!  Helloooo Renee. I’ll bring the wine. I know it’s cooler there on the lake where you are.   Ohhh back to the fabric.  Wanna see?

Scrap Quilts Mania from Quilt Mania………….

Sprinkle is what this kit is called.  I love this pattern. It’s a Sherri Falls pattern of  This & That.  I love everything she does actually.  So I made this little quilt into a kit. The mini isn’t part of the pattern but I can tell you how I did it. I actually made duplicates of both quilts.  One for me and one for my friend Debbie.  It’s a fun one to make. Sherri’s directions are the best.

Woodlands quilt kit is a new one I made.  Nothing to it really. Just sew the squares together. They are even cut out for you.  All you have to do is sew it together, then quilt it.  It’s a great table topper or a picnic quilt.

I finished my Redwork Christmas quilt. There are still a couple sets of the patterns left if you’d like to make one too. This was fun to do.

The Simple Life is an awesome new booklet from Anni Down in Australia.  Everything in this book is to die for.  Trust me when I say this.  I wouldn’t lie to ya.  :)

July is going to be a RAK month for me. Anyone know what that is???? Well if you order from me, you’ll find out in July.  :)  I really do this all the time,  but in July I’ll be doing it for all of you.  My customers are awesome. You guys are so honest too.  I can’t believe you send back patterns, magazines and kits that I duplicate when shipping to you.  LOLOL  And I have to say I’ve done it more than once.  You don’t even contact me, you just send them back. WOW! That is very impressive. And I appreciate you so much. So this is my way of thanking you.  :)

Hunka and I are taking a road trip next week and will be gone on the 7th for a week. No orders will go out after the 6th.  But when we return I’ll get caught up again.  He and I are going to be doing our very own shop hop in Iowa, Minn. and Indiana.  I can not wait. Country Threads of course is on my list. I’ve been there before and am excited to visit with Mary and the girls again.  I’ll take lots of pictures to show.
