Hi everyone!!! How’s it going?? Going good over here. Really it is!!! Although it’s feeling more like Fall here than Spring. I’m enjoying the cooler weather. I know it’s not going to be cool for long. So I’m enjoying!
Hunka and I are going to be doing quite a bit of traveling this year. So we’ll be gone from time to time. I’ll let you know when we’re gone so you can place orders and know that we are away and orders won’t be filled. He’s retired and has worked all these years. I can’t blame him for wanting to get out and travel. We have a cruise coming up in May so I”ll be shipping orders until April 29th and then I’ll resume shipping May 19th. After our cruise we’ll be spending a few days in New York. I’m so excited. Never been to NYC before. We’re staying right in the middle of Times Square so it should be fun. Can you guess who I want to see? I bet you’ll never guess.
Now for what I’ve been working on…………….
This is an Australian pattern and it is for a wallhanging but I made it into a pillow for my friend Debbie’s baby room. She has grandkids coming out the …………well you know. lolol I love doing stitchery as I’ve told you but once I do it, I hang it on a hanger and don’t finish it. Well this one I did.And it’s a kit on the website called…………You are always in my heart.
I’m loving my new clothesline that Hunka made for me.
I’m going to do a give away!!! I have so much stuff to give away and I’m going to get crackin on that!!! If you leave a comment on my website/blog you’ll be entered. Also If your placing o for “regular” priced items you’ll get a discount card with your order the rest of the month. It’s my way of saying thank you for your support.
This bag will be full of goodies. This is my first give away. I have more so no worries!! Just leave a message for me and I’ll put you in the drawing. And if someone referred you to me please leave me their name too. I want to thank them!!
New stuff!!
This is back in stock!! I also have the refill blades on the website. It’s RED, come on you know you need one.
Walnut shells back in stock as well. These are great for your pincushion. To fill it with after you’ve made it.
My First Sewing Book is back too. It’s a great book.
I still have three spots left for this BOM. I traced mine today and am going to start stitching!! If you want to do it like mine let me know. I’ll fix you up with kits each month. Remember, I don’t know what the finished quilt looks like either.
This is block #1. I’ve just started stitching mine. I’m using an off white with beige dots for my background fabric. In case you haven’t decided what you’ll be using. I have the fabric on the website. This is Lynnette’s block, not mine.
These bundles from Primitive Gatherings are on the website as are charm squares. I love this fabric line. I’ve ordered some of the bolts and should have them soon. Season Little Gattherings.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. So many great stitchery projects inside. Trust me on this one.
I still have a few of the issue 6 in stock. If your looking for any other issue let me know. I don’t stock them anymore but can get them. The magazine is going up in price but if you are on the auto ship your price won’t change. I had to raise my prices because of the shipping and the exchange rates. So if you want to get on auto ship and give me a cc number you’ll get the 19.99 price.
Collections Friendship fabric is one of my favorites. I love the colors. I showed you two of the other prints in my last newsletter. Now I have to think of a quilt to make using all four fabrics.
Don’t ya love a good Paisley?
This is a fabric from the line King of the Ranch. I just had to get it, because of the stars.
Please remember if your overcharged on shipping I will refund you. I try and remember but if you see I forgot please email me and I’ll take care of it right away.
I thank you all for your support and business. Those of you that send me nasty emails and cancel orders on me, do NOT try and order from me because you will be refunded and I will NOT ship to you ever again. Mean is not welcomed here. :)
LOVE the pillow, Sharon – that is beautiful.
I also love that pillow. I have a stitchery project in progress at all times. So nice to have something to work on in the evening while I am watching TV. Enjoy your blogs, keep them coming.

Glad to hear that you are having a fun and busy start to your spring! I like your perspective about the cool weather – I need to keep that in mind when I’m grumbling about having to bundle up when I go outside. As you mentioned, it won’t be cool for long, and pretty soon I’ll be complaining about the heat! Thanks for the reminder to stop complaining and enjoy the present!
Hi, Sharon …… Love your spunky personality; you’re so honest and to the point! I absolutely love shopping at Daisy Cottage and have purchased some wonderful finds. I’m thinking I need the Primitive Quilts magazines, a red fabric I saw as well as the wonderful Seasons Primitive Gatherings.
Have a great cruise and wonderful side trips. Thanks for the heads up on shipping and I’ll get my order in soon.
