Hey there! How’s everyone been?  I’ve been a sewing fool over here.  That’s all I wanna do lately.  Just hide in my basement and sew.  I am in a creative mood. Starting all kinds of projects. And yes even finishing some of them.  My problem is I don’t like to write patterns.  I can design lots of things and even make them but then getting the directions on paper…………problem!!!  I do warn you in my directions this is not my profession.  lol  But you know where I am if you have any questions.  That’s a good thing right?

I have been working on some of my BOM’s that some of you are doing.  I love all of them.  I thought maybe you would like to see what I’ve done.

This is the Vintage Christmas BOM.  I LOVE THIS. The red and green are so pretty together. I’m mixing a lot of shades of green in this.  It’s going to be a big quilt.  I can get the pattern set if anyone wants to make one.  I can’t kit it up like this anymore.  I might do it again if different colors.  Anyone interested? Send me an email.

Don’t you just love these tiny blocks?  Wouldn’t an entire quilt of these be cute?  They are the four little blocks in the center part of the quilt.

Finished both of these. I’m going to start the other two that I have now.  There are a few different ones on the website under STITCHERY or AUSTRALIAN patterns.  They come preprinted and all you do is stitch.  Can’t get any easier can it?    Well, it can but NO I’m not going to do it for you.  :)  I still haven’t decided how I’m going to finish these.  Maybe I’ll just hang them on the hanger with all my other stitchery’s until something hits me.  Not really HITS me, just hits me!

I made some new bundles of dots in fat quarters. If you go to the website under the bundles remember they are always changing as I get new fabric and sell out of old. If you really like dots I could make you one huge bundle of dots.  I have dots everywhere.  If it’s available I order it I think.  Who knew I had so many?

Here’s another one I have made up new.  This is the red fat quarter bundle.

I just had to show you this.  Some of my scraps from making bundles.  Isn’t it colorful. Like confetti.

This is the Redwork Christmas BOM that alot of you are doing.  I think it’s turning out awesome. These are some big blocks!  Hunka looked at them hanging there and said, WOW that is a lot of stitching.  DUHHHH    Ya think I just whip this stuff up overnight?  This BOM I can also get the pattern set still if anyone is interested. Just send me an email.  It is an iron on pattern so you just lay it on your fabric and press.  Perfect huh? No tracing!!

Do ya see what I’ve been working on?  This cute little drawstring bag.  It is going to be a tutorial on the website.  I’ll send it out in newsletter in a few days.  I have kits on the website if you want to make it like mine. You don’t have to, but if you like mine,  get a kit and get ready.  First thing you’ll need to do is go to Birdbrain’s website and print off the adorable little birdy pattern. It’s a freebie on her website. Robin does free little stitchery all the time for us to dowload free.  I won’t be including this in your kit because you should go get it from her.  And thank her maybe????  She doesn’t have to give us this free but she does and I think it’s so so nice of her.  He is the cutest bird isn’t he?

Your kit will have everything you need in it except the pattern for the bird. The instructions will be on the tutorial.  I love my little bag. Birdie Bag Kit is what it’s listed as under KITS.

I’m outta room as usual.  Please know that shipping at the post office has increased as of the 21st. I’ve made the changes on the website so it will just automatically do that for you.  And don’t forget that I reimburse you for overcharges.  :)

Happy Sewing everyone

Hugs

Love the redwork. I remember not liking churn dashy blocks when I first started making quilts. I love them so much now. And red makes everything lovely.
