I’m back and survived the holidays. How about you? I’m gonna say that I’m happy they are all over with. So much work, and then poof it’s over in a matter of hours. I’ve started taking stuff back to the basement. Most of it is down and ready to be stored away. Next year we are going to spend Christmas in Tennessee most likely so I won’t be doing as much decorating. Seems like every other year I decorate which is good with me.
New arrivals:
Weekend by Barb Adams and Alma Allen of Blackbird Design
Stitched For Fun by Fiona Goble
Back to Charm School by Country Threads. I love them and their place on the farm. I want to go back again soon.
Quilt A Gift by Bari. And she has a baby boy one too that I have in stock.
This pattern is so cute. I’m going to do the snowmen in redwork instead of applique and then use red/white fabrics around the blocks. Cute huh?
Simple Choices is a good book. I love the quilt on the cover. The ones inside are cute too.
I’m starting a new BOM and it’s going to be a project a month for Christmas 2012. Yes I said Christmas. Not all projects will be Christmassy but will be something easy you could make for gifts if you would like. You can sign up for it on the website under ChristmasBOM2012. Just like the others once we begin shipping you can’t join. So if you think you wanna join us please sign up. So this is the first thing you’ll get. And you don’t have to get every month. You can pick and choose after I list the project. I’ll only make so many kits though. When they are gone, they are gone. Christmas Gift Ideas is what it’s listed as if you are looking for it.
These pillow are some you can make with the fabric you’ll get. You’ll be able to make even more really. I just got tired of making them. I’m gonna leave out the red ones and use for Valentine’s day. So if you give these for a gift the person you give to can do that too. There is a snowman, a tree, a heart, wool for a heart, wool for the snowman, etc in the kit.
I ordered two large Annie’s from my friend Nicole for Christmas. I sent her the fabrics I wanted her to use. I used the Moda Christmas fabric. They turned out so cute. Here’s the one I kept for me. You can order them from her too. She should be getting ready to make Valentine ones soon. I am telling you that I’m obsessed with her Annies. I should count how many I have. This one is a big girl. You can see the little one to the right on the photo. Yep she’s packed away too until next year.
I added another black bolt to the website from the line Little Gatherings. Love this fabric.
I’ve added the BOM patterns for Truly Scrumptious to the website. I started mine and they are so dang cute. This is just for the patterns only. No kits.
This is a new kit I just finished. It’s a Valentine Annie pillow. The kit includes the fabric, ribbon, button and the pattern. It’s around 10 inches square. It’s under KITS on the website.
Can you see it way up there on my bed? I switched out the Christmas quilt and put my Valentine quilt on. This is another one I made years ago. But love every year when I bring it out.
I’ve updated the Clearance section on the website. Lots of scissors, notions, fabric, patterns/books, etc marked down. So check that out. Alot of stuff on there. I’m downsizing. I have way too much inventory and I have no room. I probably won’t be selling fabric by the yard for much longer. Only kits and BOM’s. So check out the stuff that’s marked down and keep checking back.
Thanks for stopping by, thanks for your business and Happy New Year.
